Emirates Airlines and the China Cultural Center in the UAE signed an agreement on the sidelines of the Arab Travel Market (ATM).
According to Amac News: The contract was signed by Orhan Abbas, Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Emirates Far East and Liu Yang, Director of the China Cultural Center in the UAE, in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airlines.
This contract was signed in order to develop incoming traffic to China from the airline's global network.
Under the terms of the agreement, Emirates will work with the China Cultural Center in the UAE to promote China in key markets across its global network through joint promotional campaigns.
The airline will also explore opportunities to organize familiarization trips from these markets to China, raising awareness of the market's tourism attractions and creating more trade and business opportunities.
Emirates operates 35 weekly flights to Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai and also offers travelers advanced air connectivity to China through its inter-line agreements with Air China, China Eastern and Cathay Pacific.
