Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Organization (DIEZ) announced that it signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to Amac News: This cooperation agreement was signed between Mohammad Al Zaroni, the executive chairman of DIEZ, and Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The purpose of this agreement is to strengthen cooperation, strengthen strategic partnerships and increase the volume of trade between the UAE and Uzbekistan, which will lead to economic growth in both countries.
According to this agreement, both parties have committed to strengthen companies specializing in digital technology and sustainability sectors in their respective countries. The purpose of this agreement is to develop digital trade in the UAE and Uzbekistan.
Kudratov urged the business community in the UAE to take advantage of Uzbekistan's promising opportunities, especially in sectors such as F&B, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, industrial equipment, metals, electronics, textiles, etc.
The visit of the DIEZ delegation to Uzbekistan included a meeting with the leadership of the Uzum Company, the Chamber of Commerce and a visit to the innovative scientific and manufacturing pharmaceutical cluster known as the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Park and FEZ Angren.
