The Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the UAE, announced that Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi, Burjeel Medical City and Paley Middle East Clinic are specialized centers in orthopedic care in the UAE.

According to Amac News: The Ministry of Health of Abu Dhabi said on the sidelines of the "Abu Dhabi Health Care" World Week that these centers are among the reputable and specialized centers in orthopedic care in the UAE.
In the presence of Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of DoH, Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Under-Secretary of DoH, Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings and John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holdings, the accreditation agreement was signed by Dr. Rashed Obaid AlSuwaidi, Executive Director of Healthcare Workforce Planning at the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi and Aysha Almahri, Deputy CEO of Burjeel Medical City.
Dr. Rashid Obaid AlSuwaidi, Executive Director of Healthcare Workforce Planning at DoH, said: "The Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health is committed to strengthening healthcare facilities in the emirate with a world-class healthcare ecosystem to improve patient health and outcomes."
John Sunil, CEO of Berjeel Holdings Group, said: "We are proud to be recognized as a specialist center for orthopedic care by the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health. This recognition highlights our diverse team of specialists, state-of-the-art facilities and extensive clinical and research capabilities."
