The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has announced that it has completed the construction of a pumping station and the development of water lines for the Al Hafiya Lake project in Kalba at a cost of 27 million dirhams.
According to Amac News: He has said that with the construction of this station, water lines with a diameter of 400 mm and a length of 4 km were expanded using high quality carbon steel materials.
Sharjah Electricity Department has mentioned in its report that an underground water tank with a capacity of half a million gallons was built along with five quality and efficient pumps. Approximately 40,604,921 IG (184,594 m³) of water were pumped as part of the organization's efforts to help develop this urban project.
Youssef Mohammad Abdallah al Hammadi, the head of Kalba administration, explained that the power grid was created using high voltage cables 3750 meters long and low voltage cables 450 meters long. Two 11 kV substations and two power distribution boxes were installed at a total cost of 944,650 dirhams.
He said that 123 lighting poles were installed with lanterns and weak tension cables of the lighting poles were stretched to a length of 6500 meters. Also, four lighting control boxes along with hidden lighting were installed along the 3,100-meter length of the lake at a total cost of 1,020,000 dirhams.
