The Ministry of Finance of Afghanistan has said in a meeting that the tax of 206 types of guilds, which includes shopkeepers and businessmen, has been reduced from 1.5% to 0.3%.
According to Amac News: Mohammad Nasser Akhund, the Acting Minister of Finance of Afghanistan, said in a press conference entitled "Exemption and reduction of the fixed tax of guilds" that according to the decree of the leadership of the caretaker government, the payment of tax for some guilds has been completely exempted.
He added that the tax of 206 types of guilds, which includes shopkeepers and businessmen, has been reduced from 1.5% to 0.3%.
Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the Prime Minister's Office, said in this meeting that based on the decision of the government leadership, taxes will not be taken from trades that earn up to 2 million Afghanis per year.
