More than 782 million dirhams were paid to retirees

The General Pension and Social Security Administration (GPSSA) announced that it has paid more than 782.3 million dirhams in pensions to more than 48 thousand pensioners.

According to Amac News: The department said that compared to June last year, June this year saw an increase of 1,766 pensioners and pensioners with an additional amount of 7,847,1657 dirhams.
GPSSA said June 2023 records show that AED 704,107,177.30 was paid to 46,569 pensioners and beneficiaries.
These costs include civilians covered by the Federal Act No. 7 of 1999 for Retirement and Social Security and its amendments, as well as eligible customers.
