According to Amac News: The report states that the members of the council launched the SBWC Pop-ups initiative focused on its members in the food and beverage sector.
The initiative provided opportunities for members to showcase their businesses and products in public spaces and government institutions in the emirate.
This initiative involved the participation of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Sharjah Records, as well as members of the Archives Department. The council has plans to expand this initiative to include a wider range of businesses in different sectors and industries.
The Council also initiated field visits to member businesses in the first quarter of 2024 to strengthen communications and explore opportunities for support or collaboration. These visits highlighted members' products and projects on the council's social media accounts and increased member visibility.
Council members participated in the 7th Sharjah SEF Entrepreneurship Festival, which attracted 10,000 visitors.
The council allowed female entrepreneurs in the fields of social impact, educational technology and sustainability to showcase their startup ideas and compete for prizes of AED 200,000 in four award categories.
In March, SBWC participated in the annual Azian exhibition, a platform designed to support women in the fashion and jewelry sector. SBWC's participation underscores its commitment to support development efforts and increase membership participation in Sharjah and the UAE, strengthening the role of women in the local and global economy.
The council also organized a session on "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Business" led by Dr. Gopal Kotvaro, CEO of The Value Space. This discussion addressed the role of artificial intelligence in increasing efficiency, simplifying operations and improving customer experiences.
