Tawazun Council, the acquisitions authority for the UAE defense and security entities, and UAE's Mubadala Investment Company have announced that they are collaborating to establish a state-of-the-art aircraft engine repair, maintenance and overhaul (MRO) facility in Al Ain.

Tawazun Council, the government entity responsible for managing procurements, supplies, and contracts on behalf of the Ministry of Defense and UAE security agencies, announced that on the second day of the IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 exhibitions, five contracts worth a total of AED5.8 billion were signed with domestic and international companies.
