Tawazun Council, the government entity responsible for managing procurements, supplies, and contracts on behalf of the Ministry of Defense and UAE security agencies, announced that on the second day of the IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 exhibitions, five contracts worth a total of AED5.8 billion were signed with domestic and international companies.
UAE signs AED9.77 billion in deals over two days of IDEX 2025

According to Amac News, with these agreements, the total value of contracts signed over the two days of the exhibition has reached AED9.77 billion from 18 contracts.
This announcement was made at a press conference attended by Majid Ahmed Al Jabri, Mohammed Saif Al Zabi, and Mahra Bilal Al Dhaheri, official spokespersons for the Offset Council.
Mahra Bilal Al Dhaheri stated that the domestic contracts on the second day included three contracts worth AED 5.57 billion. These contracts include an agreement with Calidus Aerospace for the supply of the HEDA missile system (Phase 1) valued at AED 3.76 billion, a contract with International Golden Group for the supply of ammunition worth AED 492 million, and an agreement with DTEC Industries Limited for the purchase of 50 marine traffic boats worth AED 1.38 billion.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Saif Al Zabi mentioned that the international contracts for the second day of IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 included two contracts valued at AED 213 million. These contracts consist of an agreement with the French company MBDA for the provision of spare parts, maintenance, repair, and technical support for marine equipment worth AED 32 million, as well as a contract with Augusta Westland Aviation Services from Italy for providing technical, engineering, and logistical support, along with spare parts for aircraft valued at AED 181 million.
Majid Ahmed Al Jabri emphasized the Offset Council's commitment to strengthening collaboration between leading local and international defense companies. He noted that IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 serve as key platforms to showcase the latest technologies and innovations.
Al Jabri also stated that these contracts play a crucial role in supporting the country's strategy to enhance defense capabilities and expand the domestic manufacturing base—an effort that contributes to sustainable development and stimulates investment in advanced technologies.
