According to Amac News: The Director of Mines and Petroleum of Panjshir province says that he has sold this amount of emeralds to domestic merchants for 37 thousand dollars.
According to the head of mining and petroleum of Panjshir, these emeralds were extracted from the mines of Hessa ​1 district of this province.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said in the X newsletter yesterday that it has opened the first emerald exhibition in Panjshir province.
According to the newsletter, this exhibition was held with the cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan, with the aim of developing exports, displaying handicrafts mixed with local culture, developing livestock farms and agricultural products, medicinal plants, and encouraging people to use domestic products and attract investment.
The ministry says that in the first Emerald exhibition of Panjshir province, handicrafts, precious and semi-precious stones, non-alcoholic beverages, iron smelting sector, printing sector, carpets and dairy products will be exhibited in 48 booths for 3 days.
