Khalifa University of Science and Technology has announced that it will host the 36th IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2024) in Abu Dhabi.

According to Amac News: This university emphasizes the MENA region's rapidly developing capabilities in robotics and intelligent transportation systems.
Coming to the MENA region for the first time, IROS 2024 will be hosted at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi from 14 to 18 October. In this conference, researchers, academics, leading companies and industry experts will gather together.
One of the largest and most important annual robotics research conferences in the world, IROS provides a platform for the international robotics community to exchange knowledge and ideas on the latest developments in intelligent robots and intelligent machines.
This conference "Robotics for Sustainable Development", the IROS 2024 Organizing Committee and its Editorial Board are currently accepting papers for presentation.
This event provides a platform for Khalifa University to showcase its research and innovation activities and initiatives in the field of robotics.
The event is sponsored by IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ), Society of Instrumentation and Control Engineers (SICE), New Technology Foundation, and IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IEEE). IES).
IROS 2024 also includes nine global competitions and challenges covering various aspects of robotics and artificial intelligence.
A key component of the conference will be exhibitions of the latest robotics technologies and products, while poster sessions, keynote addresses, panel discussions and networking events are also being planned.
Khalifa University's Center for Robotics and Autonomous Systems (KU-CARS) drives innovation with approximately 50 researchers and state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, including a vibrant multidisciplinary environment for conducting robotics and autonomous vehicle research and innovation.
