Officials in the Ministry of Finance of Afghanistan announced the reduction of taxes on the income of hotels and oil and gas pumping stations in this country.
According to Amac News: Abdul Qahir Idris, Deputy Minister of Finance, said that according to the new decree, the fixed tax of oil and gas stations has been reduced from 0.6% to 0.3%, and the profit tax of restaurants has also been reduced by 2%.
He added that before these mobile hotels and restaurants whose annual income was less than 750 thousand Afghanis were subject to 2% and more than that were subject to 5% profit tax, but; According to the new decree, all hotels and restaurants are required to pay only two percent income tax.
Abdulsalam Hanafi, the deputy head of the ministry, said that in order to facilitate the tax department, the tax crimes of companies were waived and the previous trade exemption was increased from 1.5 million afghanis to 20 million afghanis and the tax rate was reduced from 0.5 to 0.3 percent. Is.
He added that according to the new decree, a fixed tax of 0.3 afghan per liter will be charged from gas and oil pump stations, while this amount was 0.6 afghan per liter.
Last year, in order to grow the private sector and support industry and trade, the Ministry of Finance had reduced the quarterly profit tax of the industrial sector from 4 percent to 2 percent.
