The Torkham border crossing commissioner Abdul Jabbar Hekmat told the media that Pakistan has created problems for traders and drivers in the field of issuing temporary documents to Afghan drivers.
According to Amac News: Hekmat says that despite the previous agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan, this country does not give traffic permits to Afghan drivers.
According to him, Pakistan does not give short-term travel permits to businessmen and drivers, and for this reason, many trucks have been stopped inside Pakistan.
However, Khanjan Alkozi, a member of the Board of Trade and Investment Chamber, said that the drivers demonstrated near Torkham.
Alkozi asked the authorities of Pakistan and Afghanistan to give businessmen and drivers a chance to receive legal documents.
