ADNOC said in a statement that it uses industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled process optimization technology.
ADNOC uses artificial intelligence
According To Amac News: ADNOC announced that Neuron 5, developed by ADNOC, was initially deployed in ADNOC Onshore’s Northeast Bab field (NEB) and ADNOC Gas' Taweelah gas compression plant in hundreds of pieces of equipment.
The innovative solution independently monitors the performance of critical equipment, enables process optimization and preventive maintenance, reduces operational downtime, increases efficiency and eliminates the need for manual inspections. Reduces congestion.
Neuron 5 uses advanced artificial intelligence models and deep learning algorithms to predict maintenance needs and monitor equipment performance by interpreting data such as pressure, temperature and vibration received from critical equipment sensors.
Following a successful initial deployment, Neuron 5 will now be available at all ADNOC facilities across thousands of critical pieces of equipment essential to production, including compressors, valves and generators, according to the announcement.
ADNOC Gas has initially deployed Neuron 5 at the Taweelah plant to support its efforts to provide reliable and uninterrupted gas supply to major industries in Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates.
The Neuron 5 pilot phase showed that the technology has the potential to reduce the number of unplanned outages by 50% and increase planned maintenance intervals across operations by 20%, while freeing up ADNOC operators for more productive activities. .
Neuron 5 is developed by ADNOC's Thamama Excellence Centre, AIQ and AVEVA.
