According to Amac News: Zia Ahmad Takal, the deputy spokesperson of the ministry, announced in a statement that Amir Khan Mottaqi met with his Turkmen counterpart and said that the practical work of the TAPI project will begin in Afghanistan in a few days.
Takal said that during this trip, Amir Khan Mottaqi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Deputy Minister of the Council of Ministers of Turkmenistan and discussed the start of the TAPI project pipeline in Afghanistan, the reconstruction of railways, electricity and optical fiber.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan has confirmed that the work of the TAPI project will actually start in Afghanistan in the coming days.
