Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) said in a statement that it has signed a strategic partnership with ADNEC Group.

According to Amac News: In the announcement of the Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC), it is stated that this agreement was signed in order to provide renewable and clean energy.
The agreement sets the benchmark for decarbonizing the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector across the UAE.
As a leading event space in the Middle East, ADNEC Abu Dhabi hosts international exhibitions and events throughout the year, welcoming exhibitors, visitors and business professionals from around the world.
Through this new strategic partnership, ADNEC Abu Dhabi will source 100% of its grid electricity from EWEC's renewable and clean energy sources, certified through the provision of Clean Energy Certificates (CECs) issued by the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE).
This strategic partnership will significantly reduce the carbon emissions of major exhibitions and events hosted by the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center and position the ADNEC Group as a global leader in sustainable event management.
