According to
Amac News: Based on the announcement of the Central Bank of Russia, the value of the country's gold reserves increased by about 4% in October and broke its previous record, which was recorded in September.
According to this bank, the dollar value of these reserves reached 207.7 billion dollars as of November 1.
Gold's share of Russia's international assets last month was the highest since November 1999, when it reached 34 percent.
The highest level of gold reserves in the modern history of Russia was recorded in January 1993, which reached 56.9%.
However, Russia's central bank said the country's international reserves reached $631.6 billion as of Nov. 1, down $2.1 billion from the previous month.
