According to XRG and BP, the partnership combines the technical capabilities of the two companies and aims to grow a competitive gas portfolio.
XRG said at the signing ceremony that the formation of Arceus Energy is a new chapter in its long-term partnership with BP and contributes to XRG’s goals of accelerating the transformation of energy systems and creating an integrated gas and chemicals portfolio on a global scale to meet growing global demand.
On the other hand, the CEO of BP said that Arceus Energy combines the strengths of the two companies and provides a dynamic platform for international growth in the natural gas sector in the region. According to him, the collaboration with ADNOC and now XRG, reflects their trusted partnership spanning over five decades. Also at the ceremony, Nasser Saif Al Yafei was appointed as CEO and Katerina Papalexandri as CFO.
