Peru closes 91 ports amid massive waves
According to Amac News: Peru's National Emergency Operations Center announced that 91 of the country's 121 ports will be closed until January 1.
The port of Callao, adjacent to the capital Lima and Peru's largest port, has closed several beaches and prohibited the entry of tourist and fishing boats.
Many beaches in the central and northern regions of the country were also closed in order to prevent life risks
Dozens of fishing boats were damaged and the boats that were not damaged were unable to operate due to dangerous conditions.
According to the Peruvian Navy, these waves off the coast of the United States were generated by winds blowing over the ocean surface.
