Dubai Culture to take part in Maison&Objet in Paris

According to Amac News: UAE Design Oasis, an initiative under the Dubai Cultural Grant Program and Dubai Quality of Life Strategy, brings together 15 UAE-based designers to showcase their works in this home decoration and lifestyle exhibition.
This initiative is in line with Dubai Culture Authority's commitment to nurture the cultural sectors of the emirate and provide dynamic platforms for designers to showcase their talents globally.
Saeed Mubarak bin Khorpash, CEO of Art, Design and Literature Department in Dubai Culture Organization said that Dubai Culture Organization places great emphasis on the design sector and is trying to improve its competitiveness through its initiatives and specialized projects.
He added that Maison&Objet serves as a key global platform to showcase the creative talents of UAE-based designers and showcases Dubai's vibrant cultural scene and its support for creative startups and innovative projects.
Participating designs include a diverse collection of furniture, products and homewares that combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.
Highlights of the exhibition include glass sculptures, palm leaf-inspired furniture, tables made from compacted earth, and other innovative and sustainable pieces.
