According to Amac News: This country has announced reforms in its foreign direct investment policy in the space sector to allow 100% foreign investment in three production categories.
According to India’s cabinet, these three categories include: components, systems or subsystems of satellites, and the mentioned categories include the ground section and the user section.
This country has said that 100% foreign direct investment in these commercial activities will be allowed from now on without any prior approval from the government.
Ground segment is the technical term for ground stations including gateways, teleports, satellite telemetry, tracking and command stations, and user segment is short for terminals to communicate with satellites.
