EU regulations on AI usage limits come into effect

According to Amac News: The law prohibits the use of artificial intelligence programs that exploit human weaknesses, such as the use of subliminal techniques and social scoring for public and private purposes, similar to those used in China.
The EU has acknowledged the potential of artificial intelligence systems to create social benefits, economic growth and increase innovation and global competitiveness in Europe, but has also warned of “new risks related to the safety of users, including physical safety and fundamental rights.”
