Amac News: Based on the announcement, the collaboration aims to improve research, development and technology innovation, as well as facilitate business activities in Dubai and help grow startups, small and medium-sized businesses and innovative companies in this sector.
The partnership is in line with the objectives of the Dubai Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Funding Initiative, which was launched by Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, in September 2024.
The MoU was signed by Mohammed Al Zarooni, Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, and Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalitha, Director General of the Dubai Land Authority, at Dubai Silicon Oasis, a special economic zone for knowledge and innovation and a member of DIEZ.
Commenting on the partnership, Al Zarooni said that DIEZ is committed to providing a conducive environment for startups, small and medium-sized businesses and innovative projects in various emerging technology sectors.
Meanwhile, Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalitha said that Dubai Land Authority is committed to providing a conducive environment that encourages the adoption of modern technologies, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, in the real estate sector.
The MoU outlines several key areas of cooperation between DIEZ and DLD, including the design and implementation of joint programs, particularly in real estate technology.
The two parties will also focus on startups and small and medium-sized businesses.
