According to
Amac News: Based on Russia's TASS news agency, Russian Minister of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov said that the country has approximately one-fifth of the world's natural gas reserves, which amount to 63.5 trillion cubic meters.
Russia currently has 4052 licenses for geological surveys, exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons, distributed among 747 investors in the natural resources sector.
Regarding oil reserves, Kozlov noted that Russia ranks fifth in the world, with reserves estimated at 31.4 billion tons, which he said would be sufficient for approximately 64.5 years at current production levels.
