Regarding the strong relations between the UAE and France, bin Zayed referred to bilateral cooperation in several sectors, particularly in the fields of energy and climate action.
He also noted the two countries’ commitment to the responsible use of artificial intelligence for global development, as well as cooperation in the protection of world heritage.
The two leaders also attended the signing ceremony of the “UAE-France Cooperation Framework on Artificial Intelligence”, which was signed on behalf of the UAE by Khaledun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Authority and Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and on behalf of France by Jean-Noël Barot, Minister of European Affairs and Foreign Affairs, and Eric Lambart, Minister of Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Governance.
The UAE and French presidents reaffirmed their intention to establish a strategic partnership in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as to establish cooperation in the areas of advanced chip supply, data center infrastructure and human resource development.
They also reviewed regional and international developments and exchanged views on key issues, reaffirming their commitment to continued dialogue and cooperation. They stressed the importance of cooperation to advance peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond, while addressing urgent global challenges.
