The 4th ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium 2025 (GISS 2025) and its accompanying exhibition, the Global Sustainable Aviation Market (GSAM 2025), an initiative by the UAE and under the auspices of ICAO to accelerate global efforts to develop alternative and low-carbon fuels for the international aviation sector, opened today in Abu Dhabi.

According to Amac News: The GISS 2025 event, which runs until February 12, will bring together more than 1,500 participants, including representatives from 193 ICAO Member States, ministers, heads of state and directors-general from the transport, aviation and energy sectors.
The event’s program also includes 150 speakers, including experts, senior government officials and CEOs of leading companies in these critical industries.
GSAM 2025 will also showcase 75 global companies specializing in aviation, energy and advanced technologies. Hosted by the UAE, the GISS 2025 edition is the first time the event has been held in the Middle East and will focus on sustainability and the application of artificial intelligence in the civil aviation sector.
