The Director General of the International Labor Organization (ILO) has said that 75 million jobs worldwide are at risk of being completely destroyed.

Hongbo, Director General of the International Labor Organization, pointed out the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market at the meeting of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) held in Washington and said that 75 million jobs will be created in the future. All over the world it will be destroyed by artificial intelligence.
"This transformation will affect workers in high-income countries and women more because they are in some clerical jobs," Hongbo continued.
He called for strengthening multilateralism and focusing on social justice for sustainable global improvement and emphasized on strengthening investment in social policies and institutions.
The Director General of the International Labor Organization (ILO) invited the relevant parties to join the global coalition of social justice.
The Global Coalition for Social Justice has recently been established and currently includes more than 200 partners.
Statements presented to the International Monetary Fund (IMFC) and the World Bank's Development Committee outlined the challenges of long-term structural changes in the world of work, including the effects of artificial intelligence (AI).
The Director General of the International Labor Organization (ILO) also emphasized the urgency of accelerating the climate transition and called on the World Bank Board to take more serious steps in increasing development funding.
