Amac News, during his visit, bin Zayed visited the pavilions and stands of several national and international companies participating in the event.
During the visit, he reviewed the latest technological innovations and advanced systems in the defense industry and discussed recent developments in the sector with exhibitors.
The UAE President also welcomed the international guests present at IDEX 2025 and stressed that the exhibition will continue to operate as a key global platform for companies and specialized institutions in the defense industry.
He also noted that the UAE defense industry has made significant progress in recent years, which is part of the country's comprehensive development vision and its approach to building a knowledge-based and diversified economy.
The International Defense Exhibition 2025, which opened in Abu Dhabi on Monday, is scheduled to run until February 21.
The exhibition, along with the Maritime Defense Exhibition (NAVDEX), is organized and held by ADNEC Group – the UAE exhibition organizer –, the country’s Ministry of Defense and the Emirati Council, under the patronage of the President of the UAE.
Held every two years in the UAE, IDEX brings together leaders and experts from the defense industry from around the world to showcase the latest defense and military products.
