According to
Amac News, the agreement aims to explore emerging opportunities to support the UAE’s industrial growth, strengthen national defense capabilities and increase self-sufficiency in key defense areas.
The letter of intent was signed by Michael Deshe, CEO of EPI, and John S. Clark, Vice President of Business Development for Missiles and Fire Control at Lockheed Martin, and was witnessed by Khalid Al Zaabi, Head of Platforms and Systems Cluster at EDGE.
The ceremony was held on the sidelines of the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2025, which will be held from February 17 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
According to the memorandum, EPI and Lockheed Martin will explore areas of collaboration to strengthen EPI’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s industrial growth, national defense capabilities, and self-sufficiency in critical defense areas.
