IDEX Next_Gen showcases cutting-edge defense technologies
According to Amac News, DEX Next_Gen is a dedicated platform for startups that allows entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative technologies to industry leaders, military officials and key decision-makers in the defense and maritime sectors.
Part of this initiative is a competition for participating companies to win the prestigious IDEX Next_Gen title, which will be awarded on the fourth day of the event, on February 20, 2025.
On the second day of the competition, five startups, including Sinaha Technology, Sky Works – Telearmy, Smart Audio Technologies, Tactical Skeleton/EAG (Eagle Armory Group), and Broswarm, showcased their groundbreaking solutions. The panel evaluated their presentations based on creativity, communication, team structure, and marketing strategies, among other criteria.
Sinaha Technology presented a suite of autonomous solutions including Robotruck, UAV-based services, and remote control systems. These technologies are used in the fields of surveillance, inspection, and gas detection.
Sky Works – Telearmy introduced its innovative teledriving technology, designed to enhance offensive power and safety on the front lines. As one of the first deep technology developers to bring vehicle teledriving to the military sector, Telearmy has joined the NATO DIANA accelerator.
Smart Audio Technologies has introduced its dual-purpose AI audio technology that is expected to revolutionize voice communications in noisy environments. The company has developed the world’s first self-adaptive noise cancellation solutions that ensure clear voice transmission in noisy sectors such as defense, aviation, emergency services, call centers, construction, motor racing, broadcasting and event management.
Tactical Skeleton/EAG (Eagle Armory Group) introduced an innovative conversion kit for rifles. The technology doubles the speed of the loading system and allows any standard bolt-action rifle to be converted to direct-action.
Broswarm introduced X-Ray Eagle technology, which uses a miniature hybrid radar system to improve clarity. Using a proprietary spatial reconstruction algorithm, the technology significantly improves depth perception and object discrimination.
With ground-penetrating sensors that can detect underground objects of various depths and sizes, the X-Ray Eagle offers a variety of applications, including archaeology, mining and security operations. The technology can be mounted on a variety of drones to enhance surveillance capabilities.
The International Defense Exhibition, organized by ADNEC Group in conjunction with the UAE Ministry of Defense and the Balanced Council, will be held in Abu Dhabi from February 17 to 21.
The exhibition brings together leading global defense companies and industry experts to showcase the latest advances in military technologies across land, air, maritime, cyber and artificial intelligence.
