According to Amac News, the factory will serve as a platform to meet both domestic needs in the UAE and exports to global markets.
Pascal Souris, Chairman and CEO of Thales Group, announced the establishment of the radar manufacturing factory in the UAE on Wednesday, February 19, saying that Thales continues to discuss new projects with relevant entities in the country, including the development of advanced solutions in the fields of aircraft, communication systems and radars.
He added that the UAE serves as a strategic hub for the company’s operations in the region and Thales aims to exploit the country’s advanced location and capabilities to support export projects to global markets.
