According to
Amac News, the agreements aim to strengthen cooperation between the UAE and Italy as part of the two countries’ strategic partnership.
The agreements and memorandums of understanding cover a range of areas, including industry, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, energy, health, culture, education, scientific research, defense, transportation, space, mining, and the establishment of economic partnerships with African countries, which are expected to further enhance relations between the UAE and Italy.
The agreements and memorandums of understanding were exchanged by Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports; Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture; Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment; Sara Al Omari, Minister of Education; Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadl Al Mazrouei, Minister of Defense; Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade; and Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Board; and Salem Al Marri, Director General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center.
Italian ministers and officials responsible in these areas also signed the exchange of agreements and memoranda of understanding.
