The Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and President of COP28 received the "Global Energy Influencer" award from the World Energy Council.

Angela Wilkinson, Secretary General and CEO of the World Energy Council, presented the award to Dr. Al-Jaber at the Council's centenary dinner.
The award was given in honor of his work on the UAE Consensus and for launching Net Zero Energy Transition Alliances in several energy sectors.
Since COP28, the United Arab Emirates Consensus has emerged as the defining point of reference for global climate action.
