According to
Amac News, the MoU was signed by Omar Al Zaabi, President of MALATH and Head of the Business Cluster and Mission Support at EDGE, and EFE Erdem, Director General of MEXT, and witnessed by Saeed Abdulwahab Khamis Rashid Al Muhairi, Consul General of the UAE in Istanbul, and a delegation from the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT).
Under the MoU, LIF will be introduced as MEXT’s exclusive partner in the field of learning and development, and both institutions will work together to design and implement skills upgrading programs that are tailored to industry needs.
MEXT will use LIF’s advanced facilities for skill-building initiatives, while LIF will utilize the MEXT Technology Center as a gateway to the Turkish market.
The partnership will also include digital and green transformation projects, and LIF will consider MEXT as its preferred technical advisor. In return, MEXT will consider LIF as the main partner for its projects with government and semi-government entities in the UAE.
In line with its commitment to creating a vibrant innovation ecosystem, LIF will act as the initial entry point for MEXT partner companies seeking to expand into the UAE market. MEXT will also grant LIF priority rights to implement any new cases that enter the UAE market.
Commenting on the partnership, Omar Al-Zaabi said: “This partnership provides an incentive for LIF and MEXT to support individuals and organizations in realizing digital transformation and skills development, and contribute to the UAE’s overall vision of becoming a hub for Industry 4.0.”
EFE Erdem added: "By working together, we aim to empower industries in Türkiye and the UAE with advanced knowledge and skills, which will ultimately contribute to sustainable development and innovation in various sectors."
