Chinese media have reported that an artificial intelligence development base has been launched in the north of the country.
According to Amac News: This base has been set up in the Weihai District of East China's Shandong Province, and its purpose is to provide full play to advanced artificial intelligence and help develop productive forces with new quality.
According to China Daily, this database currently hosts six companies, and ten more companies may join it soon.
Appen Data Technology, a global provider of artificial intelligence training data, said it plans to deploy to Digital Base.
Tian Xiaopeng, Appen's global vice president, said the company provides all kinds of data such as: image, text, speech, audio and video, and has cooperated with leading Chinese Internet and telephone companies.
