According to Amac News: A tripartite meeting was held today (Sunday, May 5) on the occasion of the International Labor and Labor Day with the presence of officials of the caretaker government, International Labor Organization and labor unions in Kabul.
Mohammad Zahid Jan Agha, Deputy Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Afghanistan emphasized on the support and provision of workers' rights in this meeting.
He said that unemployment is a global problem and they are working to reduce unemployment in the country with the cooperation of international institutions.
Ramin Behzad, the senior coordinator of the International Labor Organization in Afghanistan, said in this meeting that thousands of workers in the world die every year due to lack of immunity.
