The World Food Program says that more areas affected by the floods in Baghlan province cannot be reached by motorcycle and this organization uses alternative ways to deliver food aid to the flood victims.
According to Amac News: The World Food Program (Sunday, May 12) published a statement on X saying that due to the floods, most of the roads in Baghlan, Sarpol and other regions have been destroyed and blocked today.
According to the statistics of the Afghan Ministry of Migration, at least 315 people have died and 1,630 others have been injured in Baghlan Province alone due to the floods in the last few days.
The ministry also said that more than 2,600 houses were partially or completely destroyed and more than 1,000 sheep were lost.
The World Food Program announced yesterday that it is providing aid to the flood victims, including distributing fortified biscuits among them.
