According to Amac News: This organization said that it provides more user-friendly access to information related to the parties involved in the 2012 Government Procurement Agreement (GPA 2012).
The revised e-GPA provides enhanced access to information on the commitments and procurement systems of WTO members that are parties to the 2012 GPA, the WTO said. The value of market access opportunities under the 2012 GPA is estimated at more than $1.7 trillion per year.
The E-GPA Gateway was developed by the GPA Parties and the WTO Secretariat in close cooperation between the Intellectual Property Division, the Public Procurement and Competition Division and the Information Technology Solutions Division. It complements other WTO Secretariat initiatives aimed at creating an integrated and interactive database of trade practices across the organization.
