According to Amac News: Etihad Airways said that this agreement was signed in order to have wider choices, higher quality services and increase the value of the offer.
The agreement will provide customers of both airlines with enhanced connectivity to destinations on each other's networks, between Egypt and the UAE, as well as beyond Cairo to Africa and beyond Abu Dhabi to Asia.
The agreement allows guests to book their entire trip with a single ticket and check their bags seamlessly to their final destination.
The agreement will see the expansion of the codeshare between the two airlines, giving Egyptian passengers one-stop access to more of Etihad's network, as well as several destinations in Asia and Australia that it already has.
