The Wall Street Journal reported that Meta is in talks with Apple about integrating its generative AI model into Apple's recently announced AI system for iPhones.
According to Amac News: The Journal has stated in its report that Apple intends to add the technologies of other artificial intelligence companies to its devices.
The iPhone maker is expected to discuss partnerships with other AI companies in regions such as China, where the Microsoft-backed OpenAI, chatbot, ChatGPT is banned, according to the report.
The report further states that artificial intelligence startup Anthropic has been in talks with Apple to bring its generative AI to Apple Intelligence.
Those discussions have not been finalized and could end, the Journal reported, adding that deals with Apple would help AI companies gain wider distribution for their products.
