The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced by publishing a report that it has organized a "Youth Forum" on the occasion of World Youth Day in 2024.
According to Amac News: The DEWA report states that this meeting included a series of activities and panel discussions with young employees and local and corporate youth councils, including the Dubai Youth Council, the Youth Department of the Dubai Road and Transport Authority.
Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA emphasized DEWA's commitment to developing the capabilities of the next generation of young professionals to create sustainable solutions that address climate change and predict the future.
He added that the total workforce in DEWA includes 2,831 young employees between the ages of 18 and 35. There are 2,062 young Emirati male and female employees.
He urged the youth to take advantage of DEWA's various programs to improve their skills in sustainability and clean and renewable energy.
