The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan has announced that in 9 months of this year, the level of trade between Afghanistan and Iran has reached 2 billion 194 million dollars.

According to Amac News: The spokesperson of this ministry said in a video message that Afghanistan's import from Iran was two billion and 156 million dollars during this period.
According to the spokesperson of this ministry, the imported goods are petroleum materials, including oil, diesel, gasoline, gas and raw materials for factories.
He added that the remaining 38 million dollars of this amount was the export of goods from Afghanistan to Iran.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan said that the goods exported to Iran include precious stones, dry fruits, various drinks and sesame seeds.
Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce recently said that the total trade between the two countries has decreased from two and a half billion dollars last year to 700 million dollars.
Khanjan Alkozai, the head of this institution, said that due to problems in the transit sector and natural problems, the trade between the two countries has decreased by 50 to 70 percent.
