According to Amac News: The Japan Meteorological Department has said that yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, April 17) an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 on the Richter scale shook a large area in the west of this country.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the earthquake shook parts of Ainan, Ahime and Sukumo provinces, Kochi and both islands in Shikoku.
Also, in this regard, the Japan Fire Department has said that nine people were injured in this earthquake.
There are still no details on the amount of damage caused by this earthquake.
