The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate (Taliban) announced the meeting of Amir Khan Motaghi, acting head of the ministry, with Qatar's special representative for Afghanistan.
Motaghi met with Qatar
According to Afghan News; Hafiz Zia Ahmad, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, tweeted today (Wednesday, 11 Asad) that Qatar's Special Representative Mutlaq Al-Qahtani and Amir Khan Motaghi discussed various political, economic, and commercial issues in this meeting.
Zia Ahmed wrote that Al-Qahtani called the current situation in Afghanistan reassuring and said that the countries of the region and the world should engage in constructive interaction with Afghanistan and not miss the available opportunities.
The two sides called the continuation and expansion of all-round cooperation regarding Afghanistan mandatory.
At the same time, Amir Khan Motaghi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of A. Islami, arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, at the head of a delegation to talk with the US special representatives for Afghanistan.
Motaghi and his accompanying delegation met with the special representatives of different countries and ambassadors residing in Qatar for Afghanistan.
Representatives of America, Great Britain, Spain, South Korea, Holland, Italy, Australia and Canada participated in this meeting.
