Flooding in Baghlan, Badakhshan, Herat and Ghowr provinces of Afghanistan has caused financial and human losses.
According to Amac News: The media has reported that more than 200 people have died, hundreds of people have been injured and about 2000 houses have been destroyed due to floods in Baghlan Province.
According to local media, the death toll from the flood yesterday (Friday, May 10) reached more than 200 people in Baghlan province alone, and more than 100 people were killed and 1,500 houses were destroyed in just one district of this province.
National Radio and Television of Afghanistan has also reported that 20 people have died due to flood in Takhar Province.
The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has predicted that on Sunday there is a possibility of heavy rain, lightning and floods in Badakhshan, Takhar, Baghlan, Panjshir, Laghman, Kunar, Nuristan and Nangarhar provinces of the country.
