The Saudi Arabian News Agency (SPA) published a statement announcing that the Ministry of Interior has imposed restrictions on the entry of travel visa holders to Mecca during the upcoming Hajj ceremony.

The ministry announced in a statement that the travel visa does not allow Hajj. Visitors who are currently in Saudi Arabia on a visit visa are requested to travel to Makkah within the specified time period.
The statement added that violators will be punished according to the laws and regulations of the kingdom.
The ministry emphasized that the authorities are implementing the necessary measures to ensure the safety of authorized pilgrims and allow them to perform their rituals without any problems.
