Emerge has signed an agreement with 'AJ Steel Pipes' to install a 3 MW rooftop solar plant.
According to Amac News: Emerge said that AJ Steel Pipes is looking to use efficient and carbon-free solutions that combine innovation and technology to achieve more sustainable operations.
Located on the roof of the AJ Steel Pipes facility in Musafa, Abu Dhabi, the plant offsets more than 2,500 tons of CO2 emissions per year and generates more than 5,000 MWh of electricity annually.
The plant, consisting of more than 5,000 solar PV modules, will be delivered by Emerge as a turnkey solution, including finance, design, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of the solar modules for 25 years.
Emergence General Manager Michel Abi Saab said the project will enable AJ Steel Pipes to reduce energy costs.
