According to Amac News; Abdul Sattar Gharwal, General Director of Fields of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, said in a press conference at Kabul Airport that "Iran Air" has started its first flight in Afghanistan after several years.
He added that the flights of this company are supposed to fly once a week on Wednesdays between Kabul and Tehran and vice versa.
He emphasized that Afghanistan's atmosphere is safe for international flights, and the start of flights by international companies is important for healthy competition and pricing.
The General Director of Fields of the Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation says that in the near future, other foreign airlines will start their flights and this ministry is trying to provide standard services for them.
Mr. Gharwal says that along with Ariana Afghan and Com Air, Mahan, Kish and Yazd airlines also fly to Iran, which has provided significant facilities to businessmen and other travelers.
On the other hand, Seyed Salehi, one of the pilots of this company, says that the company is trying to increase its flights in Afghanistan by two to three flights a week.
It should be mentioned that not long ago, "Fly Dubai" airline resumed its flights to Kabul after two years of suspension.
However, after the fall of the previous regime in Afghanistan, foreign companies stopped their flights to Afghanistan.
