Officials at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the interim government in Afghanistan report that trade between Afghanistan and Russia has reached $174 million from the beginning of April to the end of October this year.

According to Amac News: Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad, spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Trade, stated that Afghanistan exported $2.2 million worth of goods to Russia during this period.
Jawad mentioned that Afghanistan's exports to Russia include raisins, mineral stones, dried figs, onions, cucumbers, talc, non-alcoholic beverages, and figs
He further noted that the imported goods from Russia consist of barbed wire, wheat water, and various types of oil and gas.
Russia is one of the countries that exports over $300 million worth of goods to Afghanistan annually; however, Afghanistan's exports to Russia remain quite limited compared to imports.
The representative of the Russian President for Afghanistan also discussed the expansion of economic, trade, investment, and transit cooperation during a meeting with the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Russia is among the countries that have intensified their economic and trade relations with Afghanistan.
