According to
Amac News: Misbahuddin Mustain, the spokesman of the ministry, said that there are currently more than 15,000 chicken farms operating throughout Afghanistan.
Despite these developments, a number of farmers want more support from the Ministry of Agriculture of Afghanistan. They pointed out problems such as lack of financial facilities, lack of access to quality chicken feed and modern equipment, and requested the authorities to pay more attention to these challenges.
Afghanistan's poultry industry, in addition to meeting the domestic demand for meat and eggs, has provided a good opportunity to create employment in different regions of the country.
